==Biografía==<br />

Manuel Guillén del Castillo nació en Córdoba el 30 de noviembre de 1947. Estudió Magisterio en Córdoba, graduándose en 1966, con apenas 19 años. Posteriormente se diplomó en Educación Física por el INEF de Madrid en 1970, y dos años después se licenció por el mismo organismo. Licenciado también en medicina en 1990, se doctoró por la Universidad de Córdoba en 1997 con una tesis titulada ''Repercusión del estrés fisiológico en niños sanos motivado por actividades físico-competitivas'', dirigida por [[Armando Romanos Lezcano]].<ref>[https://dialnet.unirioja.es/servlet/autor?codigo=339882 Perfil de Manuel Guillén del Castillo], en la web Dialnet.</ref><br />
