Sus primeras experiencias en el mundo del toreo estuvieron ligadas al espectáculo cómico ''El bombero torero'', siendo su primera corrida con picadores en Tarragona en [[1970]]. El [[20 de julio]] de [[1975]], también en Tarragona, toma la alternativa con Miguel Márquez como padrino y José Luis Galloso como testigo. En [[1987]] torea en [[Belmez]] en la que sería su última corrida antes de su retirada.<br />
